Visitors have begun the holiday shopping season at the Historic Courthouse for the past 30 years! Join the tradition and experience a holiday event like no other. The Holiday Bazaar offers a variety of vendors selling handcrafted goods. Enjoy the sounds and sights of the season while shopping your way through this historic site decorated from top to bottom for the holidays.

Art in the Garden is a unique showcase of art and nature, where visitors and artists can mix, mingle, stroll, eat and shop. You'll find high-quality products available at the market, ranging from artisan foods and handmade jewelry to nature-inspired art and spa-worthy bath and body products. Special events during Art in the Garden include live music and access to a special food tent.

ART-A-WHIRL 2024

Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country, which happens annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis the third weekend of May.

This will be the 29th year!

Over 1,200 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at over 80 locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.

ALL are invited to our February workshop to unleash your inner artist and paint miniature landscapes and abstracts.

What to bring? A source photo or two or three… Mini paintings go fast, so it’s nice to do a few. As usual, everything else is provided.

Suggested items:

Brushes, paints, canvas, anything special you want!

Workshops for you to take a moment to breathe, get centered, and let your creative energy flow.

Since it’s the start of the new year, let’s make vision boards for January! I know they are so like 2020, but this is the perfect time to evaluate and align what you want to manifest for 2024. Let’s do it together. No cost is involved, but if you want to donate a little $ for whatever materials you use, that’s great!
